- Student Research Grant (SRG),Professional Development Grant (PDG),and New Mexico Research Grant (NMRG) Application Cycle begin
Second week in September:
- Departmental Language Exams held this week.
September 15:
- MA Program of Studies form due in History, for students planning to take comprehensive exams in the Fall semester.
September 19:
- Student Research Allocations Committee (SRAC) Grant applications due at the GPSA
October 1:
- MA Theses due in History for Fall semester graduation.
- PhD Dissertations -defendable draft due to Dissertation Committee for Fall semester graduation.
- PhD Application for Candidacy forms due in History, for students planning to take comprehensive exams in the Spring semester.
- Applications for Teaching Associateships for Spring semester due in History
October 15:
- Applications for admission to History graduate programs for Spring semester due in Office of Admissions and History.
- PhD Exam Committee form due in History, for students planning to take PhD exams in the Spring semester.
Fall Break:
- MA Exams administered in the week following Fall Break.
November 1:
- PhD Dissertations draft due to department chair for Fall semester graduation.
November 15:
- MA theses and PhD Dissertations due at OGS.
First week in November:

December 15:

Spring Semester

February 20:
