Career Diversity Fellowship Placement Program
Below is a partial list of organizations that have hosted a UNM History PhD student. Students are encouraged to think broadly about their "hands on" experience and thus are not limited to the organizations listed. Currently the Fellowships are closed, but we plan to revisit them and integrate them in some capacity into the program.
For faculty and students at other institutions who are interested in creating a similar fellowship, the process of developing is detailed in the UNM Career Diversity Handbook (link forthcoming). After consulting with their faculty advisor and the contact person at the sponsoring organization, a student should submit a fellowship application and proposal to the Career Diversity Fellowship Subcommittee for review. The forms are maintained here.
