Santa Fe Trail Day at Mizzou was a success!
Dr. Sam Truett and PhD student Sierra Ramirez were hosted as special speakers by the Kinder Institute on Constitutional Democracy at the University of Missouri for Santa Fe Trail Day, a public community-engaged event held held on Thursday, April 11. They discussed their latest research findings and visualizations from their Native Trails project, a multi-year National Park Service-funded project led by Dr. Truett (History) and Dr. Maria Lane (Geography and Environmental Studies), with graduate research assistants Sierra Ramirez from History and Joseph Scala from GES.
