Richard A. Melzer, Ph.D. ('79) has won two New Mexico-Arizona Book Awards.  The Best Reference Book Award for "A River Runs Through Us: True Tales of the Rio Abajo" and the Best Anthology Award for "Murder, Mystery and Mayhem in the Rio Abajo"
