Dr. Sarah Davis-Secord was awarded a residential fellowship for next year at the Institute for Advanced Study to work on her book project, “Encounter and Identity: Christians and Muslims in Early Medieval Italy” that investigates the earliest Muslims individuals and communities living and working in medieval Italy.  

In addition, she was awarded the NEH faculty research award last month for her project. They funded over 200 projects nationwide! For more information on the NEH award click here.
