The annual Gorham Lecture, sponsored by UNM’s Department of History, will take place on Wednesday, November 6, from 4:00-5:30 P.M. in the History Department Common Room, Mesa Vista Hall 1104, Dr. Zavagno will be presenting : "No Island is an Island" : the Byzantine Mediterranean between Late Antiquity and the Early Middle Ages (ca. 600 - ca. 900 CE)"
