Area and Thematic Fields/Interests
My research focuses on the implications of human rights violations throughout Latin America, emphasizing Mexico. Including the visualization and exposure of the underlying systemic and human factors that have led to the use of violence as a form of terror and repression in rural communities in Mexico since the 1970s. Other interests: Cold War, Cristero War, Military Intervention, Disappearances, Social Justice, U.S. intervention in Latin America.
