Dr. Liz Hutchison Named Fulbright Specialist for Argentina

The Fulbright Specialist Program sends U.S. faculty and professionals to serve as expert consultants on curriculum, faculty development, institutional planning, and related subjects at academic institutions abroad for a period of 2 to 6 weeks. As a Fulbright Specialist in gender and labor in Latin America, in summer 2019 Dr. Hutchison will spend three weeks in Argentina, where she will deliver the keynote address at the the main Conference on Women and Gender Studies in Argentina, the XIV Jornadas de Historia de las Mujeres y VIII Congreso Iberoamericano de Estudios de Género, where she will also participate in research workshops and meetings with government officials and domestic service activists.  In addition, Dr. Hutchison will teach a doctoral seminar at the Universidad Nacional del Centro de la Provincia de Buenos Aires and deliver lectures at the Universidad Nacional de la Plata, the Universidad San Andres, and the Universidad de Buenos Aires.
