Michelle M. Martin, UNM Doctoral student in the Department of History, has been named to the Board of Advisors for the new television series "Out West With Deb".  The series is produced by the Trinity Marketing Group in Topeka, Kansas and features historian and author Debra Goodrich as its host.  The series looks at the history of the American West from its earliest settlement to the present and features the people, places, and events that have made the American West famous and infamous.  Martin will serve as a historical advisor on the board for the show and will assist with episode content research and production from Albuquerque.  Time permitting, she will also travel and field produce episodes as well.  The show will air in Kansas on local television stations and online as well. Currently the show's producers are seeking a local PBS affiliate in Kansas to air the show to a larger viewing market.
