This event is a Special Lecture presented by UNM's Department of History and Institute for Medieval Studies.

Noel Lenski is a Professor of Classics and History at Yale and a distinguished authority on Late Antiquity. His topic, "Roman Refugees: Settling Extra-Territorial Peoples inside a World Empire," reflects his current research and has also been chosen to resonate with recent world events which have seen so much movement of refugees across borders.
