UNM Conference Addresses Critical Needs in Latin American Asylum Cases

ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico (March 20, 2017) - The Latin American & Iberian Institute (LAII) at The University of New Mexico is pleased to announce its annual Richard E. Greenleaf Conference on Latin America. Titled “Practicing Asylum: Expert Witness Testimony in Latin American Asylum Cases,” the conference will address critical issues related to Latin American immigration by pulling together attorneys and academics from within and beyond NM who are engaged in issues related to asylum work.

The conference will be held April 14-15, 2017 at the UNM Student Union Building (Lobo A & B) and is free and open to the public. Registration is encouraged.
